The American Heritage® Dictionary states that a Milestone is "an important event, as in a person's career, the history of a nation, or the advancement of knowledge in a field; a turning point". As we celebrate our 20th year serving you, our clients and friends, I find that the dictionary definition, while accurate, has a tendency to leave out what to me is the most important factor in this significant milestone for Nolan Financial. That would be the Emotional Factor!

1989 was quite a year! George #41 was President; Driving Ms. Daisy won best picture in the Oscars; you could mail a first class letter for $.25 and, after 28 years, the Berlin Wall was open to the West!! Perhaps of all of these milestones, the most important was that Nolan Financial was begun from a very humble beginning without much fanfare or financial resources but with a great desire to service you, the client, with honesty, integrity while always bringing a value - added solution to whatever the problem may be.

As I think about our growth, I am humbled by the number of accolades and testimonials that have come our way from you, our clients and friends. It does not happen by accident that we have clients who have been with us for 10 and 15 years. It happens because as President and CEO, I have been fortunate to have surrounded myself with a professional team of experts who truly not only support my vision for unparalleled client satisfaction but also bring to the client a unique set of problem -solving credentials.

We have held fast to our mission statement which states in part that we want to satisfy our client's financial security needs through quality products, services and people. We have made the very deliberate decision to maintain our independence. This allows us to bring you the absolute best solution without regard to any particular insurance provider or product.

As I think about our next 20 years together, I am humbled once again and truly do understand that without you, Nolan Financial would not exist. So please let me thank you on behalf of our staff for all that you have done and hopefully will continue to do to make Nolan Financial a successful partner with you. As a further thank you, Nolan Financial will be giving back 20 hours of time in community service on your behalf.
